Renee Kathleen Zellweger

Renee Kathleen Zellweger is a daughter of Kjellfrid Andreassen who was a former midwife as well as a nurse from Norway. She was born on April 25 the year 1969 in Katy. Her father, Emil Erich Zellweger, is an engineer born in Switzerland. The couple was married in 1963. Renee has a brother called Drew Zellweger, a marketing executive who was born on February 15 1967. Renee was part of the drama group at high school and began to be interested in acting. She also attended an acting course at the University of Texas (Austin) and began to look towards acting as a career. Following graduation, she wanted to pursue acting but Hollywood is a tough town to break into, and so Renee decided to stay in Texas and attempted to audition for roles around Houston and managed to grab roles in such films as Reality Bites (1994) and Empire Records (1995). On the set of the sequel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) She made friends with Matthew McConaughey, another Hollywood up-and-comer. Renee was able to observe him working on a project that interested her. She auditioned for and was offered the role in Love and A.45 (1994). The film was a success that earned her the critical praise and a decision to move to Los Angeles. Another part in The Whole Wide World (1996) came next, and led to her biggest break. Cameron Crowe was busy casting Jerry Maguire (1996) with Tom Cruise. Crowe was thinking about actresses like Bridget Fonda (Camden Diaz), Winona Ryder (Winona Ryder), and Marisa Tomei. Then he saw Zellweger's performance in The Whole Wide World (1996). The audition was conducted by Zellweger to confirm that she was indeed his Dorothy Boyd. Renee then followed her enormous success with a few small independent films and after receiving more praise from critics She was confident enough to reenter the realm of large-budget Hollywood films. Meryl Streep starred alongside her in One True Thing (1998). She also played in Me, Myself & Irene (2000) with Jim Carrey and shortly after, began dating Carrey. in the title role in Bridget Jones's Diary (2001).
