She was the leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five", and"Fierce Five," and the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastics team. Morgan was born to Pamela Morgan (age 30) and Michael Morgan on July 2, 1989. She and her sisters Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played multiple sports throughout her early years, but did not favor soccer until the age of 14. Following high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They were the winners of the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and placed third in their under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she honed her soccer skills. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) chose Morgan as an All-American Athlete.
