Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents the daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's fascination with stock car racing began when she was issued a pit lane pass, and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she was a reporter at Langley Speedway. She gained attention after her own video blogs on NASCAR were published on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised firstly in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton at the time Vincie had begun high school. She is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's mother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator for the fifth grade when her grandfather was on faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always had an interest in from an early age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie was an athlete in the track and field and was also the school's director for four years. She was victorious in the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also gave her lots of information. She received a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics division of the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior dissertation on gender-based disparities in auto racing which focussed on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She was drawn to the sport after receiving the pit lane entry pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her inspirations are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
