Emily Swallow

Emily Swallow (born December 18, 1979) is an American actress from the United States. She is most well-known for her roles in the role of Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara the Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She is also known for her character of The Armorer on the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also involved in the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born the 18th of December 1979 in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. She began acting at Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville in the year she was studying at the time. Swallow graduated with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She pursued her studies for an MFA in Acting in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She appeared in two international premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's production of Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. (citation needed) She was the winner of the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the most outstanding female actor for the part in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman collaborated on a stage show titled Jac N Swallow. It was presented at Joe's Pub as well as the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show is about the hilarious mishaps of Jac Huberman and her friend Swallow who face a myriad of problems in their lives that they face with the same degree of difficulty.
